Welcome to 7th grade Science at Eagle Valley Middle School. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Caruso. I am from Colorado originally and have lived and taught in Eagle County for 14 years.  I have taught at Avon Elementary and Brush Creek Elementary as an ESL and Reading teacher in addition to a classroom teacher. Before that, I was a teacher at a private school in Honduras for 2 years. I am looking forward to my first year at Eagle Valley Middle School as the 7^th grade Science teacher! My major in college was Environmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  Science is my passion! In class this year, we will be studying physical changes in matter, how geology affects life on Earth, adaptations of organisms, plant and animal cells, body systems and how they are interrelated, and the many relationships between plants and animals.
